Today we dedicate our post to the amazing Javier Pulido, our delegate that got awarded with a Outstanding Delegate for representing Nicolás Brol at Gabinete de Jacobo Arbenz!

Javier's incredibly outgoing and joyous personality was one that surprised us all after getting to know the shy-looking person he seemed to be. Who could have thought he would turned out to be the life of the party! His charm and witty sense of humor made every meeting and competition a less stressful and much more enyojable experience for all of us. Being around him showed us how to embrace adversity and keep challenging ourselves, even when we were afraid. He taught us how a hard-working spirit and adaptable mindset can be key to success. No wonder why he had one of the greatest performances all along the year!

Thank you Javi, you are are role model to all of us!

Today’s post is dedicated to an incredible and strong couple that got awarded with a Diplomatic Commendation representing Japan 🇯🇵 at the Arctic Council, María José Díaz and Nicolás Pérez!

Nico is an oldie that helped everybody through all this process by teaching incredible public speaking techniques, surprising us with awesome out of the box analogies in every speech! Even tough he may look hard like a rock he have an incredible heart and the willing to help everyone in this delegation!

María José, a newbie that since the very first MetroSim showed us her desire to win. She always has a smile to show or a hug to give in every good or bad moment. She definitely was one of our most fierceful delegates, always giving her best and showing that there’s no challenge too big when you have a goal to achieve.

Thank you for your hard work and commitment! We know that you are going to do incredible things in the future.

Today, our post is dedicated to Alexandra Tejeiro and Estefania Galeano, the powerful girl’s partnership that got awarded with Honorable Mention for their awesome performance in the United Nations Environment Programme for representing Japan! 🇯🇵

Alexandra is one of the sweetest person you’ll ever meet, but her determination is definitely her greatest gift. Throughout the year, she proved us all how to crave for improvement on everything we set our minds to and how to leave fear behind to pursue your goals!

Estefania, our youngest member with the oldest soul, taught us many things. She showed us she was capable of much more than giving awesome speeches or coming up with incredible ideas for solutions. She demonstrated how a strong, independent woman should act, even though she is “just a girl”.

Congratulations girls for your performance and thank you for giving your everything this year! We are absolutely thrilled that you decided to join our family.

To close this cycle, we would like to congratulate the ones who made the BEST SMALL DELEGATION possible in HNMUN 2019!

Our first post is dedicated to Adriana Estrada and Carlos Neves, our passionate partnership that got awarded with Diplomatic Commendation for their incredible performance in the Human Rights Council committee representing Senegal! 🇸🇳

Adri, our awesome Head Delegate, had the honor and huge responsibility to be our team leader during this very busy year, helping us with basically everything to enable us to grow as delegates and as a family, and motivating us to have the best financial performance to reach Boston and win! The passion she put in every meeting, sim and model was always something to admire, she definitely Led Us by Example!

On the other hand, Carlos, one of our incredible newbies, was always moved by his team captain spirit, reminding us that in every battle we fight, we must do it together as a team, leaving our souls in the committee until the very last second! His success formula: confidence, commitment and a good chocolate bar.

Thank you guys for your passion and commitment. We are incredible proud of you!

On Saturday we had our final simulation for this incredible year: UCABsim. We managed to practice our skills that will be helping us throughout all of HNMUN 2019!

A special thanks to the delegations from UCAB Harvard National Model United Nations, Lamun Ucab, WorldMun UCAB, NMUN UCAB, Moit Ucab that made this simulation happen at the facilities of Universidad Católica Andrés Bello!

In the 65th edition of the Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN), Universidad Simón Bolívar will have the honor of representing the State of Japan 🇯🇵

We are thrilled to represent a nation with such an amazing history and culture! House of Sushi 🍣 , Mount Fuji 🗻 , Cherry Blossom Tree 🌸 and Emojis 🎏🗾💮

We are only 2 months away from February and we couldn’t be more excited!

Yesterday, it was our honor to host -alongside our sister delegations and - our traditional simulation at our home: Universidad Simón Bolívar, or how we like to call it: USBSIM . We would like to thank all the 22 delegations who attended to our SIM to give their best and practice for their upcomming conferences in our country and abroad!

Additionally, we would like to extend a great THANKS! to for being a fundamental part of this event with their sponsorship!

This was also an opportunity for us to continue practicing our skills, get out of our comfort zone and grow as delegates!

Last week, from October 10th to October 13th we attended to the biggest and most challenging Model UN in our country which is Movenu Internacional.! There we had the opportunity to practice all the skills we acquiered in the past months and showed the knowledge we gathered after 2 months of intensive research and hard work! We will like to thank to all MOVENU Staff for this incredible experiencie and for hosting such a great conference with the highest quality of debate!
