This was the JHP children's activity for their Dengue Fever Symptoms lesson on November 12th 2020. The children recreated the rash associated with Dengue Fever.
They enjoyed this Science Thursday topic so much.
Auntie Linda came up with a mosquito remix for the 'Shoo fly, don't bother me' song that was a hit with the children.

A letter writing revision game that we played in October 2020...
Auntie Linda recapped how to form the letters by:
1. Demonstrating on the white board
2. Tracing the letters in the air with the children
3. Tracing the letters on the ground with the children
4. Having the children write the letters on the white board for themselves
The children were encouraged to help their peers remember the process of writing each letter, by saying the chants/rhymes which we use and pointing out mistakes while offering corrections.
The craft segment of the Science Thursday lesson: Parts of the Flower...the theme was gardens
The children were guided step-by-step but they cut their grass and pasted their petals, stems, leaves, grass and seeds on their own. The placements were pre-marked.
P.S. Science Thursdays are the designated days where science is the main lesson of the day. Auntie Linda leads our preschoolers into the exciting world of science and experiment hands-on. The children always go home brimming with excitement about their new-found knowledge.
