Greetings in the wonderful name of our lord and savior Yeshua the messiah also know as Jesus the Christ.

Today word of focus is “keys Keys give you access, power and ownership.
When someone leave the country and leave you the keys to their house or their vehicle they are turning over their power of control to you. They are entrusting you with the ownership and use of their property.

So when the messiah said to us “ I give you the keys to the kingdom” this was indeed a big deal. In the book of Matthew 16:19 the messiah said “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” This my brothers and sisters is the unlimited power of God that was given to us. This is why prayer can move mountains. This is why by the laying of hands we can heal the sick and change situations. This is why we can pray and intercede on behalf of someone else, any situation or even our nation.
The ultimate healing and transformative power of God is in our hands, however many of us are unable to wield it. Many of us are not even aware of this fact and the devil is only to happy to keep us bound and feeling powerless.
Today my friends let’s remember who we are. The book of 1 Peter 2:9 reads “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”
It’s about time we recognize who we are and start acting like it and stop allowing ourselves to be tricked by the devil. Let prove ourselves worthy of holding the keys, the keys to our salvation, the keys to a purposeful life and the keys to our happiness.

Today let’s make a bold declaration, let’s take a bold step and move forward in faith. The palmist David said in the book of palms chapter 23 in verse 4

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Picture being boxed in a valley with mountains on both sides, and death is present, so close that it casts its shadow over the valley. Stepping forward in those circumstances can be daunting and heavy on your spirits but David was bold, he said even though death is looming I will step out in faith.

That job that will take you overseas, that investment opportunity or even that relationship decision. Whatever the case may be step forward in faith.

David stepped forward knowing that the lord is with him always, even in the face of hardship. Be bold today and take that step forward in faith.

I remember when I used to pray for the things that I have and enjoy now.
I am also aware of the things that I enjoy today that I didn’t pray for, like peace in my home, good friends, kind strangers, clean air and a host of other things I take for granted.

I feel blessed to know that the lord has kept his promise to me. The lord said in the book of Psalm 84:11
King James Version

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

So today I say thank you lord for your blessings and your saving grace. I think you should too.

Let us pray
“Dear lord help me to count my blessings day by day and to never forget what you have done for me. Help me to remember all the things you have provided and continue to provide even though I do not deserve them. Help me to see with spiritual eyes the protection you provide from the things I cannot see with human eyes. Be with me this day and always, in Jesus mighty name, amen.”

Today let’s take a NEW look at life.

Have you ever written a long message and deleted it then wrote a new one? Have you ever headed off in one direction and turned around and taken a new route? Have you ever scrapped all your plans and made new ones?
Every day we get that chance to make a new attempt at life, love, wealth, health and well-being.
The Bible says in the book of Lamentations 3:22-23
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
The chance for you to make that change in your life is renewed everyday you wake up. If what you have been doing failed, you can take a NEW approach. The Bible says in the book of 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
A new life with a new purpose, new hope and a new covenant.
If that new life is what you seek then take that step today.

Today let us look at “Signals”

Your body gives you a signal when you need food, the signal is hunger. Your body gives you a signal when you need water, the signal is thirst. Your bowel movements comes with some signals that you absolutely cannot ignore. Ignoring the signals that your body gives you can be detrimental.
Your spirit also gives you signals. You know when something don’t feel right. The psalmist David felt it in Psalm 42:5
King James Version
“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.”

David recognized the signals that his spirit was giving him. He felt his spirit running low. Many may call this depression or a bad mood or just simply feeling low. These are all signals that should never be ignored. David found peace in praising God for only God can guide us out of those dark moments.

Let us pray

“ Dear Heavenly Father, helps us today to lift up our eyes unto the hills, only from you our help will come when our spirits are running low. Let us not ignore the signs and signals from our spirit and seek after the meaningless pleasures of life. Help us to keep our eyes on you and praise him even in the midst of our storm. Be with us all today and every day, in Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.

Today let’s focus on our struggles.

In life there are some uncomfortable situations that makes us feel disgusted, but these moments are very important in our lives. Passing gas, passing waste, sweat and tears are all uncomfortable but without them life will come to an end.
If we don’t experience these messy situations we will die. These messy functions are important to life and living.

So too are the difficult times in our lives. Without challenges we will get slow and lethargic, without needs there will be no inventions and innovations. Without problems we won’t move.
The Bible says in the book of 2 Corinthians 4:17
New King James Version

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

Our earthy struggles teaches patience, gives us strength and courage, builds our faith and gives us character. Without poor health we won’t ever experience the healing power of our lord, without captivity we won’t know what freedom feel like, without poverty we will never under the real value of our lord providing for our needs and without loss we won’t ever see restoration.
Our struggles works in our favor, there is always a lesson in it for us.

Today let’s look at the lighthouse concept.

I recent looked at a movie that was based on a lighthouse. The actors played the role of maintaining the equipment and facing numerous challenges to keep the light going. The consequences of the light going out was lives lost.

In the book of John 8:12 “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jesus Christ provides that light to lead souls out of darkness. We need to be that vessel that houses that light, maintain that vessel to keep that light shining.

The book ofMatthew 5:16 King James Version says “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

That light is the light of Christ in our lives, when folks look at us they must conclude that it can’t be just us as mere humans but the might hand of God at work.

Let us today maintain our temples, keep our bodies pure, cover ourselves with the blood of Christ and wash our sins away so our lives can be that lighthouse that guide lost souls to Christ.

In the books of John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Those words are loaded with meaning, the way of Christ is the only way, no matter what other ways there may be we must recognize that the way of Christ of the only way because Christ is truth, there is no lie in God. If we are concerned about our lives and our salvation we must chose the way of Christ.

The problem is we were created with our own will. The will to choose our own path and reject the directions set out by God. Even on this earth when we have maps, GPS trackers, satellite coordination and billboards we still get lost. We either misread signs or we completely ignore them.
The Bible is filled with the signs, instructions, the living word of God and his commandments. We however ignore them, we look for shortcuts, we try to find loopholes and we chose our own paths.
Today my brothers and sisters i remind you of the absolute truth. The words written in the book of John 14: 6
King James Bible
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Prov. 3 Verses 5 to 6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Today our word comes from the book of Matthew 5:16
King James Version
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

A child will learn more from the examples set by his or her parents. Showing how it’s done is always more effective than talking about it.
God didn’t just leave us with his word, he sent his son to show us the way and teach us how to live a meaningful life.
So it’s not enough to just feel saved and blessed, we have to shine that light to lead others out of darkness.
How do we get that light? The truth is we are all sinner and darkness is a part of our nature but the Bible says in the book of John 8:12
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
The closer we walk with God the more his light will shine through us. Moses walked with God so close that his face was shining like light.
Let’s endeavor to walk closer to God so we can be the light that leads someone out of darkness.

It is time to be still, let go and let God direct our lives. We say Jesus take the wheel in words but not in action.
The Bible says in the book of Proverbs 3:6
King James Version
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

We simply need to let go and know that God is able and whenever we are uncertain, just close our eyes and remember. Remember all the times he have come through for us, delivered us and provided for us.
We are important to God so he will take care of all our needs. The Bible says in the book
Of Luke 12:24
“Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?”

We are important to God so please stop stressing out your problems and just let go and let God.
