It was a beautiful and successful Sports Day for DGS. The headteacher and staff wish to express thanks to all who supported. At the final count, GREEN HOUSE is the champion house for sports 2020. Congrats to ALL athletes who ran exceptionally well.

[07/17/20] Good evening everyone. At this time, the head teacher and staff would like to congratulate the Grade Six students for achieving passes in their CPEA. Thirteen (13) students passed of the fourteen (14) who sat the examinations, which resulted in a 92.86% pass rate for the school. We wish these students all the best and encourage them to remember the school's motto: "Excellence through Discipline and Perseverance".
Area representative and proud past student of the school, Hon. Saboto Caesar, continues to support the school in all its endeavours. He received a very sentimental gift in appreciation of his immeasurable support.
The reopening of the school's library was held yesterday February 20th,2020. Staff and students beamed with excitement and pride to unveil their new library. Many thanks were expressed to all those who supported this project , as their contributions were pivotal to such a successful reopening.

[10/23/19] UPDATE: A recount of the scores sheet was done today and an error was realized. GREEN house has been stripped of their Champions title, as the scores now reveal that RED house are the Champions. The scores reveal that Red is 1st place with 580 points and Green 2nd place with 562 points. Blue settled for 3rd position with 460 points.
The school held its annual Sports Meet today. Exciting competition, delicious food and supportive parents and well wishers, made the day a complete success.
October 16th: World Food Day Display 🇻🇨
Susan Fergus Anaman, a past teacher of the school, donated two barrels of books to enhance students' literacy skills and reading experiences. We are extremely grateful for her donation.
The football team received new uniforms compliments the area Representative Hon. Saboto Caesar. The students are grateful for his continuous support and contributions to their holistic development.
[10/05/19] The head teacher, staff and students of the Diamond Government school, wish to thank all those who contributed items towards the bake sale as well as came out to purchase them and support the students in their mini-concert yesterday. The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition is the world's oldest schools' international writing competition, established in 1883.
This year, the theme of the competition is: A Connected Commonwealth. ALL students are asked to participate as there are exciting prizes to be won. Please note that entrants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

UPDATE: The school is dominating the sporting arena having participated in football and netball matches, securing victories. The football team played 7 matches of which they won 4 and drew 3. The netball team played 3 matches today and won all 3. The headteacher and staff are pleased with the hard work and dedication of the team players in representing the school well and support the holistic development of ALL students.

The headteacher, teachers and students marching through the village of Diamond to commence their Literacy Week activities under the theme “Read, Explore, Imagine”.
The school was off to a great start today, commencing its Literacy Week activities with a march through the community, lead by the headteacher and staff. Onlookers and passersby witnessed the creativity of the students which were displayed with their hats, banners and placards. The theme for this year’s Literacy Week is “Read, Explore, Imagine”.

The machine will help at fundraising events to increase funds for continuous development of the school’s environment and its students. [07/29/17] The headteacher and staff of the Diamond Government School will like to extend sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the late Oscar Allen. He was a true stalwart, historian, icon and beacon in the community of Diamonds. May his legacy live on in the hearts of the people and generations to come.
