As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and resilience across the Caribbean Community, please find attached three informational infographics addressing prevalent cyber threats currently affecting individuals and organizations throughout the region.

The materials provide guidance on:

Recognizing and avoiding phishing attacks.
Protecting personal and organizational information from phishing attempts.
Identifying WhatsApp verification code scams and implementing recommended preventive measures.

We kindly request your assistance in disseminating these resources through your respective ministries, agencies, organizations, and other appropriate communication channels. A successful start to our very first Youth Business Program!

As technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace, it is more important than ever that our young people are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world.

Designed and developed by the National Centre of Technological Innovation (NCTI) with support from the LEAF Programme, the Youth Business Program was created to introduce secondary school students to essential workplace soft skills and practical digital applications that will benefit them beyond the classroom. Whether they choose to pursue employment or become entrepreneurs, this program is designed to help prepare them for the future.

Our Orientation Day gave participants a preview of what they can expect throughout the program, and we were excited to welcome the very first cohort. We look forward to guiding these young minds on a journey of learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER of the National Centre of Technological Innovation Inc., Petrus Gumbs, is aiming to work alongside the Ministry of Education to incorporate Artificial Intelligence into schools so students will no longer use the technology “willy-nilly,” but will instead use it more productively.
