The Calder Government School will reopen for the new academic year (2026-27) on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Construction of a new lunch area is being completed. We are looking forward to welcoming our new students and those returning. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Greetings parents and guardians

As you are aware, school reopens September 7.

On the first day of school, general assembly would be held.

Immediately, following general assembly, there would be a brief orientation session for the new entrants.

School begins at 8:45 a.m and ends at 2:45 p.m.

Looking forward to seeing all of our students for the new academic school year!!

The Ministry Education has advised that the new academic year begins September 7, 2026 and not the end of August as previously announced.

Please use the extra time to fully prepare the students for the new school year.

As part of our Annual Educational Tour 2026, students participated in an exciting and educational experience as they visited the Tus T Factory, the Meteorological Office, and the Air Traffic Control Unit. Throughout the tour, students were given the opportunity to learn about the production processes at the factory, gain a better understanding of weather forecasting and climate monitoring, and discover the important responsibilities of air traffic controllers in ensuring safe and efficient air travel. This educational experience allowed students to connect what they learn in the classroom with real-life experiences while expanding their knowledge of different careers and essential national services.
