West St. George Secondary School This is the official page of the West St George Secondary School. This Secondary school first opened its doors in September, 2004. The West St.

George Secondary School came into being because it was recognized that there was a need to engage students from the surrounding areas, who were not successful in the Common Entrance Examinations. This was in keeping with the Government’s thrust – ‘No Child Left Behind’ and the plan to ensure Universal Access to Secondary Education unfolded. Consequently, in September 2004, the West St George Secon

dary School opened its doors to some one hundred and two (102) students. The school was headed by Ms. Alinda Hypolite with a staff of six teachers who marshaled their resources and worked diligently with those students.

At our assembly yesterday morning, we were graced by Ms.Jada Mason, the powerhouse behind Feminine Hygiene Institute.
The Feminine Hygiene Institute is a non-profit initiative that aims to foster the empowerment of girls through access to free feminine hygiene products at the Secondary School level.
On behalf of the staff and students, particularly our girls, we want to say thank you for your generous donation of several feminine hygiene products along with a feminine hgyiene product dispenser. We are glad that your hope of making Secondary Schools in St.Vincent and the Grenadines more period-friendly has been fulfilled at the West St. George Secondary School.
