Our Mya Richardson of form 2 Room 8 created history for the school when she copped the second-place trophy in the Inter-Secondary School Spanish Spelling Bee Competition. Mya went through the first rounds of the competition with a flawless score which propelled her to a tie-breaker round along with her fellow competitor from the St.Vincent Grammar School. The tie-breaker round was fiercely contested for approximately 25 minutes with the contestants seemingly not willing to relent, in this unprecedented tie-breaker round. Though our school did not come out on top at the end, we celebrate Mya’s “excellence through self-discipline and dedication”. Congratulations Mya! 🔥🔥🔥🖤💛
