NATIONAL VALUES – A REFLECTION OF THE NATION'S SPIRITUALITY
On February 21, 2025, Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA), in collaboration with the Khorezm Regional Council of the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party, organized a festival of national values and a “National Clothing Exhibition” under the slogan “National Values – A Reflection of the Nation’s Spirituality”
National values encompass every nation’s language, traditions, history, culture, customs, material and spiritual wealth, as well as economic, social, and political life.
During the festival, students had the opportunity to learn about their cultural heritage passed down through generations, explore traditional clothing, handicrafts, and folk art that have been preserved for centuries and participate in competitions, including proverb recitation and riddle-solving contests.
Students performed national songs and dances, showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich musical heritage.
Discussions emphasized that respecting national values means respecting one's own identity and heritage. The event highlighted how national values reflect a nation’s language, culture, history, customs, and traditions, making them a complex social and psychological phenomenon.
This festival served as an important platform for promoting cultural awareness and appreciation among students.

🇬🇧 In our previous news was reported that a group of doctors from the clinic of Xinjiang Medical University of the People’s Republic of China visited Urgench branch of TMA in order to give lectures and conduct practical training to students of folk medicine.
On November 22, 2024, representatives of the delegation, headed by O.Q.Sadullayev (associate professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology, Ph.D) and students of the Faculty of Folk Medicine of the Joint Education Program visited “Khonka” sanatorium. In the near future, the process of signing a two-way contract for cooperation with this sanatorium and training of rehabilitation sciences in various faculties and areas is being carried out at the base of this sanatorium.
The chief physician of the sanatorium, Sh.Abdullayev, welcomed the guests and introduced them closely to the work of the sanatorium, the treatment processes and the conditions created in the sanatorium. This sanatorium started its work recently. Here, patients suffering from Cardiovascular, Musculoskeletal, Gastrointestinal and Nervous diseases are provided with all facilities and modern medical equipment. During the visit, guests and students were given details about the activities of the sanatorium and their questions were answered in detail.
