🔹 British Management University (BMU) hosted an Education Leadership Workshop for School Principals.
Main Department of Public Education of Tashkent and British Management University have signed a Memorandum, according to which BMU have organized advanced English training courses for teachers of schools and assisted them to develop their English language skills and obtain C1 (CEFR Certificates).
📑 To continue the partnership, the Round-Table was organized on the 12th of January 2022 with School Principals. The Rector of BMU Mr.Conrad Ozóg gave a hands-on presentation on “Leadership in Higher Education”, sharing inspiring information and examples on International Teaching Leadership Styles for the School Principals. Dr. Yuri Loktionov (Ph.D., C.F.A) provided an interesting lecture on the «Atlas of Emerging Jobs» and facilitated discussion on the future professions, perception, and application of future careers.
🔹 This event was held in order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan – “On approval of the concept for the development of public education in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030”.
🔹 The event was concluded with the round-table discussion on reducing the gap between school and university in order to prepare a strong and professional young generation.

Congratulations to 17-year-old Nodirbek Abdusattorov on winning the 2021 the World Rapid Championship! 🏆🎉🎊
He outclassed the world's super grandmasters defeating in Round 10 World Rapid Champion Magnus Carlsen and Challenger Ian Nepomniachtchi in the tie-break!
He became the Youngest Person Ever to Win the World Rapid Championship.

🔹 On behalf of BMU family and community, we would like to introduce Ms. Gavalyan, a Business Communications senior lecturer at BMU!
👩🏻🏫 Ms. Gavalyan is currently teaching modules on business communication and globalization to second year students. She has also taught a wide range of language modules and modules related to the development of critical and creative thinking. Her research interests include internationalization of education, higher education management, educational leadership, as well as transition pedagogy.
🎓 Ms. Gavalyan is a grantee of a prestigious Fulbright Foreign Student Program. She holds Master's Degree in Literature from Bowling Green University, OH, USA. She also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Study in Teaching and Learning from Westminster International University in Tashkent and a bachelor's degree in English Philology from the Uzbek State World Languages University in Tashkent.

🌟 Our 2nd-year student Bekhzod Aslonov will start a new chapter of his life at Brunel University, London, UK (top 400 global universities according to the QS Global Rankings). After a successful completion of the Foundation program at BMU, he transferred his studies to London. We wish him success in his future academic endeavours!
🗣 Bekzhod's advice to his fellow students: «If you want to achieve something, put a lot of effort into it yourself!».
