Жасорат / Дадиллик — audacity [ɔːˈdæsɪti]

Инглиз тили жуда бой тил ва бу тилда битта су́з бир нечалаб маънога эга бу́лиши мумкин. 'AUDACITY' су́зи хам бундан мустасно эмас - жасорат ва дадилликдан бошқача маъноларда хам ишлатса бу́лади бу су́зни. Лекин бошқа маъноларни китоб у́киш ёки кино ку́риш мобайнида билиб олган авфзаллоқ.

Мисол:

There's only one guy who would have the balls, the nerve, the audacity to do that.

Алокадор сузлар:
boldness [boʊldnes] — Жасорат.
courage [ˈkɜːrɪdʒ] — Жасурлик.
guts [ˈkɜːrɪdʒ] — Жасорат.

✔️Common Mistakes made unconsciously.

1. She is married to a dentist - is the correct answer here.

English people use "marry someone" (with no preposition) more often though.
For example:
Tom married Ann. / Ann is married to Tom.
Note! These are different yet correct use of English.

2. You are very nice, like your father - is the correct answer. There is a big difference between "like" and "as".

*"As" is used to express what job, duty, use, or appearance someone or something has.
"Like" is used to express resemblance.
For example:
The movie was not like a book - in this case usage of "as" would be wrong because the book is not a movie.

3. I prefer tea to coffee - is the correct answer.
Prefer is used with the preposition "to".
For example:
I prefer books to movies.

4. There are four of us - is the correct answer.
"We are four" is a slang expression.
