14–16 сентября в Ташкенте прошла международная конференция GEOMIN 2026 в ней приняли участие представители более 70 организаций из 26 стран. В программу вошли более 100 презентаций, 25 технических сессий,выступления 34 ключевых спикеров и три панельные дискуссии высокого уровня.

🤝 Студенты Филиала Университета Пизы в Ташкенте приняли участие в конференции в качестве волонтёров. Они помогали в организации мероприятия, взаимодействовали с участниками и получили возможность изнутри познакомиться с международным профессиональным сообществом, современными технологиями и актуальными направлениями развития геологии.

✨ Для наших студентов это стало ценным практическим опытом и возможностью расширить профессиональные знания, завести новые контакты и увидеть, как современные технологии применяются в геологии и горнодобывающей отрасли.

🌍 From September 14–16, Tashkent hosted the international GEOMIN 2026 conference, bringing together representatives of more than 70 organizations from 26 countries. The programme featured over 100 presentations, 25 technical sessions, 34 keynote speakers, and three high-level panel discussions.

🤝 Students of The Branch of the Pisa University in Tashkent took part in the conference as volunteers. They assisted with the organization of the event, interacted with participants, and had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the international professional community, modern technologies, and current developments in geology.

✨ For our students, the conference was a valuable hands-on experience and an opportunity to expand their professional knowledge, build new connections, and see how modern technologies are applied in the geology and mining industries.

6 сентября студенты Филиала Университета Пизы в Ташкенте приняли участие в масштабном спортивном мероприятии — «Toshkent xalqaro yarim marafoni», посвящённом 35-летию независимости Республики Узбекистан! 🎉

💪 Наши студенты преодолели дистанцию 5 км, продемонстрировав отличную физическую подготовку, командный дух и стремление к новым достижениям.

🇮🇹🇺🇿For the first time in the history of the University of Pisa Branch in Tashkent, the first cohort of students successfully defended their graduation theses and graduated.🎓

On 14 July, six students of the Geology Bachelor’s programme successfully defended their final theses and became the first graduates of the University of Pisa Branch in Tashkent. This marks a historic milestone not only for our Branch but also for international higher education, as they are the first graduates of an official overseas branch campus of an Italian university recognized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR).

The ceremony was attended online by the Rector of the University of Pisa, Riccardo Zucchi, and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Giovanni Federico Gronchi. In Tashkent, the event was attended by Professor Adriano Ribolini, President of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Geology, Department of Earth Sciences, University of Pisa, the Executive Director of the University of Pisa Branch in Tashkent, Numonbek Rustamovich, the Rector of the University of Geological Sciences, Azam Kadirkhodjaev, as well as distinguished guests, including the Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan, Guido De Sanctis, and the President of the Tuscany Region, Eugenio Giani.

🌋Студенты филиала Университета Пизы в городе Ташкент стали победителями конкурсного отбора и отправились в Италию для участия в международном научно-образовательном проекте «IdroVulc: liscia, gassata o fumarola».

⚡️В рамках практики студенты посетили уникальные геологические объекты региона Кампания, изучили вулканические процессы, гидротермальные системы, вулканические породы и природные источники минеральных вод. Программа сочетала полевые исследования, практические занятия и знакомство с одними из самых известных вулканических территорий Италии.

🌋Students of the University of Pisa branch in Tashkent became winners of the competitive selection process and travelled to Italy to take part in the international scientific and educational project «IdroVulc: liscia, gassata o fumarola».

⚡️As part of their placement, the students visited unique geological sites in the Campania region, studied volcanic processes, hydrothermal systems, volcanic rocks and natural mineral springs. The programme combined fieldwork, practical sessions and an exploration of some of Italy’s most famous volcanic areas.

Состоялась встреча «Министр и молодежь»

В преддверии Дня молодежи министр горнодобывающей промышленности и геологии Республики Узбекистан провел встречу с молодыми специалистами, студентами и исследователями отрасли.

В ходе открытого диалога участники обсудили развитие сферы, внедрение технологий искусственного интеллекта, поддержку молодых кадров, повышение их профессиональных навыков и подготовку специалистов международного уровня.

В завершение встречи активным участникам были вручены памятные подарки. Подобные мероприятия создают дополнительные возможности для профессионального роста молодежи и ее участия в развитии горнодобывающей промышленности и геологии.

A ‘Minister and Youth’ meeting took place

In the run-up to Youth Day, the Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with young professionals, students and researchers in the sector.

During an open dialogue, participants discussed the sector’s development, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, support for young professionals, the enhancement of their professional skills and the training of world-class specialists.

At the end of the meeting, commemorative gifts were presented to active participants. Such events create additional opportunities for the professional growth of young people and their involvement in the development of the mining and geological sectors.
