🌍 Day 4 of the GreenCamUz Second Training Program Successfully Completed
The fourth day of the Erasmus+ CBHE GreenCamUz training programme at Karabük University, Türkiye focused on environmental toxicology, sustainability education, and environmental governance.
During the programme, participants:
🌱 Attended an expert lecture on Environmental Toxicology: Concepts, Principles, and Multidisciplinary Approaches;
🎓 Learned about integrating environmental toxicology into higher education curricula and promoting sustainability education;
🌍 Explored approaches to environmental monitoring, risk management, and toxicology governance;
🏭 Visited the KARDEMIR Iron and Steel Factory to observe industrial environmental management practices;

The GreenCamUz programme continues to provide an international platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices that support sustainable higher education and green campus development.

🌿 Day 3 of the GreenCamUz SECOND Training Program Successfully Completed
The third day of the Erasmus+ CBHE GreenCamUz training programme at Karabük University, Türkiye focused on sustainable water management and international experience sharing in higher education.
During the programme, participants:
🔹 Visited the Demir Çelik Institute Laboratory;
🔹 Explored best practices in syllabus design based on the U.S. higher education experience;
🔹 Attended expert sessions on livestock waste management and agricultural wastewater treatment;
🔹 Learned about the BiG Project as an example of innovative environmental research;
🔹 Participated in presentations on reuse of wastewater and wastewater treatment;
The programme continues to strengthen cooperation among partner institutions while promoting sustainable solutions and international knowledge exchange in higher education.

♻️ Day 2 of the GreenCamUz SECOND Training Program at Karabük University Successfully Completed
The second day of the Erasmus+ CBHE GreenCamUz training programme focused on sustainable education, curriculum development, and waste management.
Participants attended expert sessions on:
✅ Recycling and Waste Management Practices at Karabük University;
✅ Experience sharing on syllabus development and curriculum design;
✅ Sustainable waste management concepts and recycling technologies;
✅ Waste recycling strategies for sustainable campuses;
✅ Innovative research on recycling agricultural waste into biodegradable nanofibers;
✅ The CYCLOLIVE project and its contribution to environmental toxicology and waste recycling.
The programme brought together leading experts from Türkiye, Poland, Lithuania, Morocco, and South Africa, providing an excellent platform for exchanging international experience and strengthening cooperation in sustainable higher education.

🌿 Day 1 of the GreenCamUz Second Training Program Successfully Completed!
Today, the GreenCamUz consortium officially launched the Second Training Program at Karabük University, Türkiye.
The day included:
✅ Opening Ceremony with project partners and university leaders
🌳 Tree Planting Ceremony promoting environmental sustainability
🏫 Faculty of Engineering visit
📚 Discussions on the Green Campus Strategy, implementation roadmap, monitoring framework, course materials, business partnerships, virtual knowledge-sharing platform, the 1st GreenCamUz Conference, and future project activities.
The training brings together experts and partner universities from Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Poland and Lithuania to strengthen cooperation and support the implementation of sustainable higher education practices.

A national seminar for higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held within the framework of the Resolution No. PQ-110 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 25 March 2026, the National Green Economy Strategy, the Uzbekistan–2030 Strategy, the nationwide “Yashil Makon” initiative, and the GreenCamUz “Green University Strategy” project, implemented under the Erasmus+ CBHE Strand 1 programme.

The seminar will cover the following topics:

✅ Green Campus Strategy;
✅ Roadmap 2.0;
✅ Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 2.0.

🌿 On 21 May 2026, the fourth day of the Erasmus+ CBHE GreenCamUz training course was held at Opole University of Technology.

The programme featured a study visit related to wastewater treatment practices in Opole, followed by practical sessions on eco-driving basics led by university experts. The activities focused on sustainable environmental solutions and the development of green skills.

The training course continues to strengthen cooperation among partner universities and promote sustainability-oriented initiatives in higher education.

🌿 On 20 May 2026, the third day of the Erasmus+ CBHE GreenCamUz training course continued at Opole University of Technology.

The programme included practical sessions on eco-driving techniques, engine braking systems, and Green Campus concepts and challenges. Participants also took part in group-based activities focused on sustainable mobility and environmentally responsible practices.

The sessions provided an opportunity for experience exchange and practical learning in the field of sustainability and green transformation in higher education.

🌿 On 19 May 2026, the second day of the Erasmus+ CBHE GreenCamUz training course continued at Opole University of Technology.

The programme focused on sustainability-oriented syllabus development, green economy education, and the exchange of international experience among partner universities. Participants also took part in practical workshops dedicated to designing sustainability-focused academic courses.

The training course continues to strengthen international cooperation and support green transformation processes in higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.

🌿 On 18 May 2026, the 5-day training course of the Erasmus+ CBHE project “GreenCamUz – Green Campus Initiative: Integrating Sustainability into Higher Education in Uzbekistan” officially started at Opole University of Technology.

During the training course, representatives of consortium partner universities will exchange experience on the development of Green Campus strategies, sustainability-oriented academic courses, monitoring and quality assurance systems, as well as the implementation of green transformation processes in higher education institutions.

The programme serves as an important platform for strengthening international cooperation among project partners and promoting sustainable development principles within higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.

🌿 GreenCamUz Project | Erasmus+ CBHE

The GreenCamUz project team participated in the Erasmus+ CBHE Grant Holders Meeting held on 2 February 2026.

📌 During the meeting, the project progress was discussed in detail, including the current implementation status and upcoming milestones. Special attention was given to the tasks that must be completed according to the established timeline and deadlines.

📊 Project partners reviewed key deliverables, coordinated next steps, and aligned responsibilities to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of project activities.

💬 The meeting also included an active Questions & Answers session, where partners clarified issues related to task implementation, reporting requirements, and coordination procedures, contributing to a shared understanding of project priorities and expectations.
