One must strive to do four things:
1. Seek out knowledge.
2. Seek only the countenance of Allah and His good pleasure.
3. Act in accordance with the Book of Allah and spread knowledge among the students.
4. Author works, so as to keep one's remembrance alive even after one's death.
Imam Bukhari said: “From the time I knew backbiting is haraam I never spoke ill about anyone.”
