International dance festival celebrating friendship and culture in Bukhara

Today, students from about 30 countries of the world study at the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute, becoming one family, united in the pursuit of knowledge. A significant part of the foreign students are young people from India, who bring a unique variety to the life of the university.

The fact that today, representatives of about 50 nationalities and ethnic groups study at the institute is a vivid demonstration that it is not only a place of knowledge, but also an environment where different cultures blend. All necessary conditions have been created for students to preserve and demonstrate their values, customs and traditions.

One such event celebrating the spirit of tolerance and friendship took place today at the Youth Center in Bukhara, where a spiritual and educational evening - a dance festival - was organized with the participation of international students, which turned into a true celebration of cultures.

Students from higher education institutions in our region, especially young people from India and other nationalities, demonstrated their talents at the festival. Songs and national dances of different nations harmonized on one stage, giving the audience unforgettable impressions.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, the rector of the institute expressed his sincere wishes to everyone and emphasized that such cultural meetings further strengthen the feelings of friendship, mutual respect, and solidarity in the hearts of young people.
In particular, the national dances performed by Indian students and the captivating interpretation of Uzbek national dances gave the festival a special spirit. Each performance on stage united the hearts of representatives of different nationalities, once again demonstrating the boundless power of art.

At the end of the event, a group of students who actively participated in the festival were recognized and thanked by Zubayda Bahranova, First Vice-Rector for Youth and Spiritual Affairs.

FMGE–2024: Bukhara State Medical Institute recorded one of the highest scores in Uzbekistan

According to the final results of FMGE–2024 (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) announced by the National Board of Medical Sciences Examinations (NBEMS) of India, Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino recorded a high score among higher medical educational institutions of Uzbekistan.
According to the exam results:

Number of graduates who took the exam: 299

Number of successful candidates: 143

Pass rate: 47.83%

These indicators were highly appreciated not only among higher medical educational institutions of Uzbekistan, but also among foreign medical institutions, once again confirming the international level of preparedness and knowledge of the institute.

The rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute explained these results as follows:
