Welcome back to another exciting school year at Tusky Valley Elementary!

The TVES PTO is thrilled to kick off a brand-new year supporting our incredible students, teachers, and staff. Whether you are a returning family or completely new to our school community, we would love to have you involved.

We had a great turnout at the Back to School Blast, where many of you signed up to join! Special thanks to That's It and PTO Today who gifted us with some fruit bars to pass out to all the amazing families that stopped by our booth .

Happy First Day Back to School to all our students! We hope everyone has a great day!

Help your students get into the school spirit by stocking up on new Tusky Valley gear for the year. A portion of all purchases made comes back to the PTO and is used to support student needs throughout the year.

We are happy to welcome our returning secretary, Hannah Boreman, back for another great year alongside our wonderful new board members.

"Hi everyone, I'm Hannah and I am so excited to return for another year as TVES PTO Secretary!

As a TV alum and proud mom of three—with a fourth grader, a second grader, and a preschooler keeping me on my toes— my roots are pretty deep in this amazing community. When I'm not helping out around TVES you can usually find me coaching youth softball, cheering at a soccer game or perfecting my bun-making skills as a ballet mom! I may have originally joined for the color-coded spreadsheets and behind-the-scenes details, but I come back year after year for the core memories we get to build for our students and staff!

I cannot wait to get the year started!"

"Hi everyone! I’m Katie Blackwood, the PTO Community Outreach Cooridnator. I am excited to foster relationships with community businesses to procure donations to help elevate our incredible school staff and bring extra awareness to the gracious generosity of those companies willing to partner with the TV PTO. "Hi! I'm Staci, the Vice President. As VP of the PTO this year, I’m excited to oversee our parent committees and help make this school year a great one for our students and families. I'm a mom to a second grader, a kindergartner, and a 3 year old at home. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year ahead and hope we can count on lots of parent support to make it all possible. We are so excited to get a new year underway! This year we have new ideas, new events and a new board! Join us in welcoming our new president, Danika Cush!

"Hi, I’m Danika and I’m excited to be serving as the PTO President this year! I’m a mom to three kids—a 4th grader, a 2nd grader, and a busy 3-year-old. I’ve been involved with our PTO for the past five years, including the last two years serving on the board as Treasurer. I’m so excited to take on the role of President this year and continue being involved in making our school a fun, supportive, and memorable place for our students and staff. I’m especially looking forward to working alongside our PTO board, families, and teachers to bring new ideas to life and make this a great year for our Trojan community!"
