That’s a wrap! It is always bittersweet when a season comes to an end but especially spring! Always sad to say goodbye to my 4th graders. This is a group of leaders! So proud of all my runners for setting goals, embracing challenge, staying committed, and persevering! The final pic is how we feel wrapping up the week of Field Day and final 5k!

Saturdays are for running and this Saturday I got to do it with my running club kiddos! Couldn’t be more proud of them. They embraced the heat and gave it their all to complete a 5K to support our school resource officer! I always hate when our running club seasons come to an end! Inspiring and BEING INSPIRED by them truly fills my ❤️!

I am SO PROUD of our SGE Running Club kiddos! They worked hard all season to prepare for this day and they crushed their final 5K! Everyone stayed committed, determined, and persevered. Even when they thought their “legs were going to fall off”, they finished STRONG with a sprint to the finish line! AND not only did I witness this determination but they also demonstrated TEAM SPIRIT as I heard them cheering not only for teammates but total strangers and respect for others with the words “excuse me” and “passing on your left” as they passed other participants! I am proud to say they truly were STRONG IN EVERY WAY!
