ZESD 6 welcomed staff back for the first day of districtwide in-service, officially kicking off the 2026–2027 school year. The two-day event began with a presentation from Superintendent Dr. Lawson. It allowed staff to reconnect, prepare their classrooms and buildings, and get ready for a brand-new year of learning.

Thank You for Making the 2026 Tri-Community Back-to-School Bash a Success!

A heartfelt thank you to all of the ZESD 6 families who joined us for the 2026 Tri-Community Back-to-School Bash! Superintendent Dr. Julious Lawson enjoyed connecting with the community as everyone celebrated the start of a new school year. ZESD 6 was proud to provide more than 140 backpacks to incoming students, helping ensure they are ready for a successful first day of school.
