Dear Member and friends of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church,

This is a formal invitation to attend our final worship service at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior’s on May 3, 2026, with a reception to follow.

As food will be served at the reception, we are asking that you RSVP if you plan to attend. By April 23 simply send an email to [email protected] letting us know if you can attend, and how many will be attending. This will help us in planning how much food to order. If you also want to include names of those attending, it would be helpful. Even if you will not be attending, share a thought or pictures and we will include them at our reception. There will also be a sign-up sheet at church, if you will be visiting in person before the cutoff date of April 23. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you are not attending the reception.

We hope you will join us in our final worship service. We understand our closure invokes unpleasant feelings, but we have so much to be thankful for from being a member of Our Savior’s. Our hope is that we can use the reception to remember the blessings afforded to us by those that began this journey over 70 years ago. Take a moment to share your memories, catch up with someone you have not seen in a while, and take your last tour as so much has been accomplished in her walls. As we will all be moving to other area congregations, be sure to share where you are heading.

As a reminder, please talk to our vacancy pastor, Alexander Kirchenwitz or email [email protected] to transfer your membership to another WELS congregation. We hope you will continue to worship Jesus with fellow believers, receive communion, and hear the word of God.
