We did it! Eight of us rode from the barn to the Caribou in town! A 6 mile round trip just to pay for overpriced foofoo drinks. The kids and horses all did amazing. I couldn’t be more proud of everyone!

For the last month I’ve been working with this sweet 3 year old TB filly from the Lucky 7 Horse Rescue. Jellybean was born at the rescue and has always had good handling. She came to me to be started undersaddle and has excelled at everything! After 30 days she is walking and trotting confidently in the arena, just learning to canter, and went on her first trail ride! She stands great for saddling and takes the bridle nicely. She hasn’t bucked or reared undersaddle. Jelly is sweet, personable, confident, and smart! I think she’d LOVE to be an eventing horse as she tackled every obstacle in my field without blinking.

Anyone who has met Sirius knows that he’s a handful (to say the least…) so to help him channel his intense energy, I’ve taught him to help herd the horses from the pasture. 😆
