STATESIDE, BUT MAKE IT ZILLAH 🐆🔥

Half twist ups. Backflips. Stunts. And a dance that had NO BUSINESS going that hard 😮‍💨

These girls walked onto that floor tonight at Fan Camp and absolutely SHOWED OUT. The confidence, the energy, the ATTITUDEEEE 👏🏽

They didn't come to play Stateside.....
they came to EAT 💅🏽🔥

So freaking proud of this squad 🖤🧡📣

Admin decided that this year would be the year that Zillah Cheer would get to expand their numbers. Throughout that excitement, I realized we may not have enough cheer boxes for our 17, yes 17, football cheerleaders. ZHS has historically had smaller numbers with 12 being "the" number for the last several years.

I know the last boxes that were built were done two years ago and an amazing dad built them for us. His daughter graduated that year so I did not want to bug him! Have no fear, one of our amazing ZHS students that is not only talented on the football field, but is clearly talented with woodwork, built our squad some boxes! All he needed was a previous cheer box and he knocked out 3 others, when we really only needed 2. Thanks, Maverick!

Now, who wants to help paint all 17 of them 🤣

Your squad has been working diligently throughout the summer, 3 times a week, learning cheers, routines, new stunts, conditioning, and perfecting their craft. Obviously, some families like to take vacation and who are we to say no but the work must still go on.

I present to you, our amazing pyramid sequence in our Fan Camp routine while missing one of our athletes.

Jokes aside, I cannot wait for our community to see all of their time put in throughout the summer paying off come game day! We have a Football Squad of 17 this year and these girls have improved, perfected and progressed SO much over the last few months. Go Leps!!
