🚍 New Brownwood Bus Pickup Procedures
To increase the safety of our students, we are implementing new pickup procedures for elementary students riding the Brownwood Bus.

Elementary Students:
Parents should park along Opal Drive, next to the Tractor Supply parking lot. The bus will be parked next to the median in the parking lot, with the bus door facing Opal Drive.

Secondary Students:
Parents may continue to pick up secondary students in the Tractor Supply parking lot.

Families with both elementary and secondary students:
If you are picking up both an elementary and secondary student, please follow the elementary pickup procedure and park along Opal Drive.

Brown County Youth Fair Updates for 2027.
• ALL ANIMALS MUST BE STATE VALIDATED TO BE ELIGIBLE TO SHOW AT THE
BCYF. This includes market and breeding animals with the only exception being
registered breeding heifers that will only show at BCYF, and pee-wee only
animals. There will no longer be county only validated animals.
• This means ZFFA exhibitor (Jr and Sr members) will need to reach out to Mr. Fowler
via email, text, or in person with the number of tags they will need.
• You will not be able to validate your animals unless you ordered state tags.
• Tags cost $27 per tag.
• Sheep and Goat Tag orders are due 8/21/2026
• Swine tags will be due at a later date.
• Exhibitors/parents will be responsible for reaching out to Mr. Fowler for tag orders,
and please be accurate on your orders. We will not be able to order extra after the
fact.

Other Brown County Youth Fair Updates for 2027.
• EACH EXHIBITOR WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER 3 ANIMALS PER DIVISION AT THE
BCYF.
• EVERY EXHIBITOR ENTERED IN THE BCYF will be required to have a membership. It
will no longer be under a family umbrella.
• EVERY EXHIBITOR/ENTRY FORM will now include a $10 processing fee.

• Sheep and Goat 10/24/2026
• Swine 11/14/2026

responsibility to start a line of communication to ensure state tags are ordered in time.
