Johns Hopkins follows in the footsteps of Brown, Yale, and Dartmouth, reinstating their SAT/ACT requirements for applicants seeking entry in fall 2026. Echoing the sentiments of other schools who have reversed their test-optional policies, JHU says SAT/ACT scores serve as a predictive metric of applicant success and help extend opportunities to less advantaged communities.
