The equestrian team is heading down to Berrien Springs for the MIHA Regional Championship meet this weekend.

The Eastside Cafe will be open today during the Open House from 4-7pm. Stop in for some 40-50% sales on merch and a variety of cafe drinks!

The ZEHS office is open today after being closed the month of July. Preparations are being made now for the 2022-23 school year!
Just wanted to share 9th-12th grade registration dates so you can prepare to pick up schedules, walk the building, meet some staff and return completed census forms (that will be mailed August 12!)

Every year, on MARCH 21, people all around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks!!!

March 21 is symbolic because people with Down Syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome.

Socks were chosen because the karyotype of Ds chromosomes actually looks like mismatched socks!

Please "ROCK YOUR SOCKS" on 3/21 to help support and celebrate those that rock the extra 21st.

Meet Mrs. Ullrey, East's newest Science teacher. This is Mrs. Ullrey's 17th year of teaching science, she has taught in Chicago, Detroit and Grand Rapids. Mrs. Ullrey has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in biology and chemistry from Michigan State University. Married to her high school sweetheart, Mrs. Ullrey and her husband have two amazing daughters that they adore! Together the Ullrey's love to visit Disney World, Yellowstone, Lake Michigan and anywhere Up North. Mrs. Ullrey comes from a family of teachers, her mother was a middle school science teacher for 37 years. "Seeing the positive impact that she had on her students impassioned me to want to do the same. I love teaching science and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work the amazing students in the Zeeland community." ZEHS is so happy to have Mrs. Ullrey in Zeeland and part of our Chix family, welcome!!
