I am now providing independent instruction again and have some availability at local airports. I also am able to instruct out of Louisburg/Triangle North Executive again and presently working with some students there.

Disclosure: I do not wear masks however if you feel more comfortable wearing one I have no problem with you doing so. If this prevents you from utilizing my services I understand.

Due to a multitude of circumstances brought on by the covid-19 pandemic and the resulting government restrictions plus those imposed by my partnering flight school, until further notice I will no longer be offering flight training. I am still available for ground school. I thank everyone who has supported me over the past few years. I wish all of my present/former students nothing but success in your future endeavors and look forward to better days in the future.

No more HIWAS-fyi to my present and former students. I actually was one of the few that still used it and taught students to use it.

Did the coolest thing I have done in my career today. Father and son have been training together and I was able to solo them both on the same day. Truly a privilege to be their instructor and something none of us will ever forget. Congratulations Aaron & Caleb Cannon!

It's the fall slowdown in work. Happens every year in NC around this time. What that means for you is deals on recurrent training! Now booking for times mid-October and beyond!

Flight Review: 4 hour session. 2 hours ground time reviewing things you may have forgotten and a Q&A session for things you struggle with, followed by a thorough pre-flight lesson and 1.5hrs of flight time. Price in your airplane: $130. If you need an airplane one can be provided at Sanford (KTTA) in a Piper Cherokee PA28-140 for a total of $360.

IPC: 3.5 hours total. 1 hour of ground time including a Q&A session followed by a thorough pre-flight lesson, 2 hour flight covering multiple types of approaches, holds, and other skills you may not use very often. Price in your airplane: $120. Price in PA28-140 at KTTA: $410

Combination Flight Review/IPC: 5 hours total. 2 hour ground time including Q&A session, thorough pre-flight lesson, and 2.5hrs flight time. Price in your airplane: $150. Price in a PA28-140 at KTTA: $550

Any instruction required beyond times quoted will be billed at $35/hr.

For aircraft rental at KTTA-any aircraft times over the quoted amount will be billed at a rate of $140/hr.

All prices in customer owned aircraft are valid for most airports within 60 miles driving distance of RDU International Airport. I am available to travel outside of the local area for a small fee depending upon the distance.

I will be conducting my first FAA Safety Seminar August 14 in Sanford, NC. WINGS Program credits available for signup both with pre-registration and/or in-person the day of event. Look forward to seeing some of my friends and students there!

We all learn in Private Pilot training about the five hazardous attitudes to flight. All of us possess at least one of them. The problem is we rarely think about them anymore after answering the test questions related to them.
