Heritage Christian Academy uses the A Beka curriculum published by Pensacola Christian College. HCA offers th

e traditional classroom (one teacher, one classroom) environment for the K3 - 6th grades. 7th grade - 12th grade have a traditional classroom setting with the students changing classes with each subject. HCA provides your child with the training that they need to excel academically and spiritually by means of daily Biblical teaching, smaller classroom sizes, athletics and music. HCA strives to develop your child's natural ability so they can be the best they can be. HCA is a member of the North Carolina Christian School Association and the American Association of Christian Schools. With a small classroom environment, we strive to give each child the attention he needs to get a quality Christian education. Our electives for elementary include art, music, computer, and an organized weekly P.E. For high school we have general typing, computer Microsoft Office training, Yearbook and Home Economics. All students entering the ninth grade begin on a college preparatory schedule. We use the entrance requirements of the University of North Carolina system as the standard for our college preparatory schedule. We have athletic programs for girls and boys. Volleyball, basketball, cheerleading and softball are available for the girls. Soccer and basketball are available for the boys.
