Fr Sean Dooley, a 2006 graduate of Bishop Rosecrans, was recently installed as priest for Our Lady, Queen of the Apostles in Chillicothe. The ceremony took place at the noon Mass on June 14 with Bishop Fernandes officiating.

After leaving Bishop Rosecrans, Fr. Dooley completed nearly 9 years of education before being assigned as Parochial Vicar for churches in Washington Court House, Chillicothe, Zaleski, and Waverly. He served those communities from 2015-2019.

He was then assigned to Our Lady of Peace in Clintonville, serving there from 2019 until 2024. From there, he travelled across town to Hilliard, where he was the priest at St. Brendan the Navigator until his recent move back to Chillicothe.

Fr. Dooley will now minister to St. Mary and St Peter parishes in Chillicothe as well as St. Mary's in nearby Waverly. Our Lady, Queen of the Apostles Parish also has a k-8 school, Bishop Flaget.

Fr. Dooley serves on the diocese Priest Personnel Board, and he is the secretary for the Presbyteral Council.

Congratulations to Dakota Householder!! 🎉 She's participating in the Summer Internship program and is employed with Brown's Body Shop. Dakota is a student in the Auto Body Repair Technology Program at the Zanesville Campus, and her partner district is Bishop Rosecrans.

Our Art, Design, and Media space just leveled up with a Wacom Graphics Drawing Tablet — a portable creative tool for students and teachers.

This tablet expands our programming to include digital illustration, design projects, media production, animation, photo editing, and much more.

Congratulations to Cecilia Shonk , who advanced to the Finals today at the Regional Meet in the Long Jump , and finished in 9th place overall . Great season Cecilia!

Graduation at Bishop Rosecrans 2026. Guest speaker was Stephanie (Wilson)Dodd class of 1997. I also want to point out the processional cross you see in these pictures is from Church of the Atonement in Crooksville that was closed. We are working hard at RHS to build a Catholic foundation and recognition of our heritage. Today marks the conclusion of this chapter for the 76th graduating class.
