This morning, some of the Runnin’ Redskins, coaches, alumni, and parents all came together to run in the Parkersburg News & Sentinel Half Marathon & 2 mile. It was a morning full of hills (mountains), humidity, and great racing/performances. The group finished:

Half Marathon
Marcus Rohrbaugh - 1:30.13 - 17th/362 - 1st in Age Group
Coach Wilson - 1:31.57 - 21st/362 - 2nd in Masters Division
Alex Sheanshang - 1:45.31 - 57th/362 - 2nd in Age Group
Michael Rohrbaugh - 1:50.27 - 10th in Age Group

2-Mile
Zane Boyd - 11:01 - 7th overall/367
Conner Wilson - 13:42 - 63/367
Emma Hayes - 14:09 - 75th/367 - 12th Girl/5th in Age Group
Rj Oney - 15:36 - 133/367
Hailey Abrams - 21:14 - 263/367
Harmony Beaver - 21:15 - 264/367
Jessa Brown - 25:15 - 314/367

Fantastic job from all. It was great to have everyone down to get a little racing in. Fitting course to end our “Hill Week” and the last of our 2-a-day practices! Great job everyone!

Members of the Cross Country team came down to Belpre for the annual Belpre Mile.

Zane Boyd took 2nd Overall running a 4:47. Marcus Rohrbaugh took 8th overall with a 5:21 and Conner Wilson took 9th Overall with a 5:23. Coach brought up the rear finishing 12th overall with a 5:35!

Two youth athletes also competed. Lily Wilson finished 2nd in her age group at 7:00 minutes. And Layla Wilson finished 3rd in her age group at 7:15!!

The 2026 Track & Field Banquet is tonight at 7pm. It will take place in the auditorium at the High School. Please bring uniforms so you can be checked off. Looking forward to seeing everybody and coming together.

Twas the night before the start of Cross Country season!!!!

Tomorrow morning, our season officially starts. Athletes will meet in the Concourse Area of the High School at 8 am. Time to get to work!
