Thank you Don Mason and all you do for our community. It was a flashback to listen to the Eagles Trubute Band tonight. Your work in making our community a better place to live and raise a family does not go unnoticed! Oh and of course we drove Dug Road on our way home. Beautiful!!
THANK YOU!

Two classmates that need to be recognized. Thanks for sharing your kindness to those in our community.

Dante Jacolenne is a Child Abuse Prevention Hero! You may see this smiling face walking around Zanesville and offering a friendly wave! Many people know Dante by his approachable personality and kind and generous nature. Dante is an individual who is invested in his community.
Dante is a friend to the Avondale Youth Center. He has provided monetary donations as well as stopping by to check in on how the kids are doing! Dante shared that his mother worked at Avondale and he can remember hearing her share stories about her job. He felt inspired by Avondale's mission and decided to help support them in any way that he could. His good friend Randy Zeimer has been involved in multiple projects with Avondale and Dante wanted to get involved. For 45 years Dante has helped St. Thomas School with various things such as helping es**rt kids into school, parking cars, coaching basketball, and working the famous St. Thomas festival for 40 years. Dante said that he also went to St. Thomas Church and school as a child. He was one of six children and the church helped him out immensely, which in return inspired him to help others.
Dante believes that if you can save one child from harm or heartache, it's worth doing anything you can to make the difference to that one child. It may be purchasing a pack of diapers for a single mom or buying groceries for a family experiencing a hardship. Dante thinks about children who might be in a less than fortunate circumstance and tries to meet them where they are at. The most rewarding thing for Dante is when he sees youth have now grown up and still recognize him and stop to talk! Thank you Dante for your giving nature and personality!
