In 8th grade science, students conducted an investigation in order to gather evidence about properties. The investigation helped students determine whether or not substances can change into other substances.

In this investigation, students combined sodium carbonate and calcium chloride to create a precipitate.

Our collaborative “Look Who’s Ready to SOAR!” mural is complete, and we absolutely love how it turned out!

Each student created their very own feather- full of color, personality, creativity, and imagination- and together those individual pieces became one incredible ZLA Eagle ! 🦅

Mrs. Sledge’s class celebrated their learning with a Character Traits Pizza Party!

Students explored traits like kindness, responsibility, honesty, and determination, each represented by a different pizza topping. A fun and meaningful way to celebrate learning! 🍕🍕🍕

📚✨ Our Upper Campus students in grades 4th through 9th have officially kicked off another exciting school year!

It was wonderful seeing their smiling faces back on campus, ready to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. Our staff was eager to welcome each student with open arms and help set the stage for a successful year ahead.

With the first week behind us, we are already looking forward to the many opportunities, accomplishments, and memories still to come. We can't wait to see all that our students achieve this year!

📚✨ Our Lower Campus kicked off the school year with lots of smiles, excitement, and energy! We loved seeing our students’ happy faces return for the first day of school, and our staff was ready to welcome them with open arms.
The first week is officially in the books, and we are looking forward to many more weeks of learning, growing, and making memories together. Here's to an amazing school year ahead!
