🏐🦁 GAME DAY IS TOMORROW! 🦁🏐

Our Lady Lions Volleyball Team is headed to the court!
📍 The Brighton School
🆚 Emmanuel Christian School
📅 Friday, October 2
⏰ Game time: 5:00 PM

These girls have been putting in the work to prepare for their very first volleyball season. Under the coaching of Naomi Cummings, they have grown not only in their volleyball skills, but also in confidence, teamwork, and friendship.

For many of our girls, they’ve been learning a brand-new sport together—and watching them grow throughout this first season has been SO much fun! They’ve learned the game, encouraged one another, worked through challenges, and have strengthened friendships along the way.

Come cheer on our girls tomorrow.
We’ll see you at 5:00!

THANK YOU, FCA FAMILIES! 🦁

A BIG thank you to the families who have chosen to participate in Dress Days for Lion Link! We loved seeing our students come through the doors happy, excited, and showing off their free-dress attire!

But Dress Days are about more than getting to wear something different for the day—they’re one small way our FCA families can come together to support our staff, teachers & students.

🦁 So, what is Lion Link?

Lion Link is the connection point between our families, teachers, and students—creating opportunities to:

CONNECT — helping families find meaningful ways to volunteer and get involved.
CELEBRATE — supporting traditions, special events, and opportunities that bring our FCA community together.
SUPPORT — helping with fundraising and donations that directly benefit our teachers, students, and school.

From Days of Christmas and Santa Photos to Louisiana Festival, Teacher Appreciation Week, Dress Days, and so much more, Lion Link gives our families opportunities to be part of making FCA even stronger.

Every dollar raised or donated through Lion Link goes directly toward supporting Fellowship Christian Academy, our teachers, and our students.

Thank you for showing up, getting involved, and helping make a difference.

Exploring Careers for 9th - 11th grade students.

1st up Cattle Farmer, Macy Rushing.
Macy is a first-generation farmer whose story is filled with ups and downs—but never once with giving up.

Through every challenge, Macy has continued to show up, work hard, and stay true to who she is. She has intentionally surrounded herself with people who encourage her, believe in her, and push her forward.

Macy believes that being yourself and never allowing others to influence you against your own convictions will take you far in life—and her story is proof of that.

Her hard work and dedication have been recognized as Macy was named Outstanding Farm Women of the Year by Farm Bureau, an incredible honor for a first-generation farmer.

But farming is only one part of Macy’s story. She is a wife and a mom to three awesome kids, and she uses her growing platform on TikTok to encourage thousands of followers to follow Christ and Farm Well.

Macy is showing that you don’t have to come from a farming family to build a legacy in agriculture. You just have to be willing to work, persevere, surround yourself with the right people, and stay true to who God created you to be.

Her story is one of faith, family, farming, and never giving up. Thank you Macy for sharing your story with our students! Macy DuCote Rushing

From the pages of a book to a real-life adventure!

On Thursday, After reading A Nest for Celeste by Henry Cole, our 5th graders took their learning beyond the classroom with a field trip to Audubon State Historic Site in St. Francisville!

The students enjoyed a wonderful tour and had the opportunity to experience some of the history, nature, and surroundings that connect so beautifully with the world they explored through Celeste’s story.

It was a great day filled with learning, exploring, and plenty of smiles! We love watching our students make connections between what they read and the world around them.

Another FCA adventure in the books!
Thank You Mrs. Melissa 🦁
