Students can purchase a Breast Cancer Awareness shirt for $20 and wear it on Fridays throughout the month of October.

On a side note, Desert View Schools will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event for our community!

A huge thank you to Officer Thompson for coming to DVMS and speaking with our students about the importance of respecting our school and community.

Officer Thompson spoke about vandalism, personal space, and the importance of keeping our hands to ourselves. Thank you for helping us reinforce the importance of making good choices!

Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up next week, Tuesday, September 8th through Friday, September 11th. Please remember that there will be no school on Monday, September 7th.

Please make sure to schedule a conference with your child’s homeroom teacher.
If your child’s homeroom teacher is one of our learning coaches—Ms. Zimmerman (6th), Ms. Konkler (6th), Ms. Smith (7th), or Ms. Groth (8th)—you will be contacted by one of your child’s core teachers. You will then schedule your conference with that teacher.

We are excited to announce that our first fundraiser of the school year will begin on Tuesday, September 1st! This fundraiser will help us raise funds for AdvoKate, an organization dedicated to supporting children and families in our community who are affected by childhood cancer.
If you would like to support this important cause, donations will be accepted at our front office throughout the month of September.
