Yuma Prep Sports Celebrates Ella Hauck for MAKING CIBOLA HISTORY! 🖤💛

Ella Hauck set two more team records in her individual events last week at the Crosswhite Invitational in Chandler:

✨ 100 Butterfly — 57.58
✨ 100 Backstroke — 1:00.08

After battling back from a year-long injury, Ella is making a statement! As a junior, she now holds four of Cibola High School’s eight girls swimming records:

🏆 100 Freestyle
🏆 200 Freestyle
🏆 100 Butterfly
🏆 100 Backstroke

She is an athlete to keep an eye on👏👏👏

A: “Buy into what coach is telling you, you might not like cross country but you’ll definitely like track.” 🗣️💯

Q: What was your favorite thing about being a Cibola Raider softball player?
A: “My favorite thing about being a Cibola softball Raider was that it brought in really good competition. Which gave me the opportunity to battle with the girls in this sport and continue to increase my skill level.” 💪🔥

Q: What is one thing you would tell upcoming high school athletes about softball?
A: “I would tell them that this life comes with a lot of sacrifice and discipline, and if you’re not ready to commit to that you won’t go far. So put in the work and to always bet on yourself because you’re the only one who can really make it happen.” 💯🗣️

Adleigh Jensen of Kofa High School dominated the Yuma area this season and earned her spot at the AIA State Championships in Discus! 💪🥏

Adleigh finished her season ranked 12th overall across all divisions in Arizona — an incredible accomplishment and a testament to her hard work!

Congratulations, Adleigh, on an outstanding season and representing Kofa High School and the Yuma community at the highest level! 👏🔥

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT: JOSHUA ZANOVITCH

When it comes to pure speed, precision, and clearing obstacles, nobody is doing it quite like Gila Ridge’s own Joshua Zanovitch! 🔥

Joshua has been on fire in the hurdle events this season, cementing his legacy as one of the fastest and most explosive hurdlers to ever run for the Hawks.

The Track Records:
🏁 300m Hurdles: Clocked a blistering 37.99 seconds—breaking into the ultra-elite sub-38 club and earning a spot as one of the Top 300m hurdlers in the entire state of Arizona! 🏆
🏁 110m High Hurdles: Locked in a stellar personal best of 14.46 seconds🔥

The definition of consistency, hard work, and athletic excellence. Joshua has raised the bar for Gila Ridge Track and Field and put the state on notice! 📈
