Thank you to our incredible teachers, staff, students, and families for helping make the first day of school such a success! Seeing our Mustangs excited to learn and our families working together made for a wonderful start to the school year.
As we continue to fine-tune our dismissal procedures, we ask for your patience and cooperation during afternoon pick-up.
🚗 Important Reminder for Afternoon Pick-Up:
🔵 Grades 3–5 (Inside Lane):
➡️ Please make a RIGHT TURN ONLY when exiting the cul-de-sac. This keeps traffic flowing safely and efficiently for everyone.
🟢 Grades K–2 (Outside Lane):
✔️ Students must enter vehicles from the curb side.
✔️ Please do not park in the pick-up lane.
✔️ Exit through the back alley behind the school as directed.
✔️ As you wait for your child, please stay clear of the gate so students can exit. Thank you!
Our goal is to keep every Mustang safe while making dismissal as smooth as possible. Thank you for following these procedures and for showing kindness and patience as we all get into our new routines.

Yuma School District One has added new bus stops for the 2026–2027 school year within the Alice Byrne boundary! Check out the map below to see if there's a new stop near your home.

Please remember to have your child at their bus stop at least 5 minutes early each morning. We can't wait to see our Mustangs riding to school! 💙

Mornings just got a little easier!

Alice Byrne Elementary has expanded our bus routes, giving more Yuma families access to convenient transportation. And because our school day begins at 8:45 a.m., mornings might be a little less rushed for everyone.

Check our online bus routes for the most up-to-date routes and pickup locations. You may be surprised to find a route and pickup time that works for your family!

Our school hours are:
8:45 am - 2:15 pm (Mon)
8:45 am - 3:45 pm (Tues-Fri)

We're excited to make Alice Byrne Elementary more accessible to Yuma families and look forward to welcoming students each day.
