For Sale: Baldwin Acrosonic Spinet Piano. Excellent Condition.

15 years ago the owner and son of Abel Hammers can to Yuma and visited MIB Piano Service. I had inquired about a set of Abel hammers for a grand piano on line and next thing I know I get an email from them stating that they wanted to come to my shop and talk to me about their hammers. I told them, “no you don’t, we are just a small Mom and Pops business and work out of our home. They said, “you are just the kind of people we want to talk to because you are in the field everyday and you know what’s happening with the pianos.” So, they came to visit. It was the Father and his Son. I don’t remember their names but they said they flew into New York from Germany and started to drive across the United States and stopping at every small piano business they could on their way to the NAMM shop in Los Angeles. We talked for 3 hours talking piano shop talk, and then they were off to the next stop. I use Abel Hammers for all our hammer restorations. They are the best!! You never know who is going to cross your path. Take a look at their website and see what makes your piano sound. It is very interesting.

UPDATE: MIB Piano Service website
Our website was established fifteen years ago and some of the information has changed. The website is encrypted by the company who created it and they are no longer in business so it can not be changed or updated. Our apologies go out to all who have tried the old information and not been able to get a response. Our main phone number now is the cell phone number.
Our email remains the same. We no longer offer the services of piano storage, free piano disposal or piano restoration. We still do tuning, repairs and moving.
