Our Story

The Yuma Area Nonprofit Institute was founded in 2009 by a collaborative partnership between the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma, United Way, and the Yuma County Library for Yuma nonprofits.

The purpose of the group is to serve, support and promote Yuma County’s nonprofits and provide training and networking opportunities. The group meets once a month on the 1st Thursday of every month at the Yuma Main Library.

The Yuma County Library has a dedicated space for nonprofits and grant writers to collaborate, meet, and learn about grant opportunities to better the Yuma community. We are Yuma’s only Funding Information Network Partner where a librarian can assist you with the self-guided online Foundation Center’s resources on a dedicated Grants computer. For more information or to schedule a tour of the Nonprofit and Grant Resource Center, call (928) 373-6465 or email [email protected].
