Yuma Christian Academy believes in supporting the entire family. Established in 1975, we are a preschool-12th grade Christian school utilizing time-tested, individualized, Bible based curriculum to focus on the success and talent of each child. We proudly offer:

1. Mastery-Based Learning. Each student is required to pass certain tests and master each fundamental tool before proceeding to new material. The student builds confidence as he gains a firm understanding of sequential foundational skills.

2. Built-In Reinforced System of Learning. This system of reinforcement through questioning, Checkups, Self Test, and final PACE Test has proven to be a sound and effective means of ensuring mastery of academic material.

3. Individualized Learning. Because the curriculum is truly individualized, students learn the best way - individually. Each student learns essential academics and explores truths about God and His world without being pressured to keep up with a group. Keep in mind that each one has strengths and weaknesses.

4. Development of Critical Thinking Skills. Students are encouraged in their ability to think creatively and independently.

5. Small Class Sizes. Smaller classes are used to help enhance and develop socialization skills. Students are actively engaged with each other and are less likely "slip through the cracks" socially. We are also able to communicate and interact with students and families in a way that enhances learning and development.

6. Dual College Enrollment. We partner with Arizona Western College to offer college credits to qualified Juniors and Seniors.
