Ballet Yuma is a very PROUD recipient of a grant from the Yuma Community Foundation. Not only have we used this grant for our Sensory Friendly Nutcracker production in 2025, but we are currently hosting a session of Ballet lessons for these wonderful special Olympians. We are so proud to have this partnership and are eternally grateful to bring the arts to all of our community members.
Last Company Class for our 4 graduates. Come and watch them take their final bow next Saturday at the McBride auditorium at Snider hall on the Yuma high school campus. There are 2 opportunities 11:00am and 1:30pm to celebrate Allyson, Selah, Seya and Yanahi. Let’s wish them well as they step out into the world. Tickets available at the door.
We are so proud of our four graduating seniors this year. We will be celebrating these hard-working amazing young women at our Etudes & Excerpts performance on May 30. Here is a sneak peek of one of our seniors, Miss Yanahi. She is going on to do brilliant things and we could not be more proud of her.

Ballet Yuma is Honored to be a member of the Ballet Alliance. This is an organization that focuses on arts, education, and quality. Each member company and their artistic directors concentrate on how we can help to support each other. Our dancers spend their days, taking master classes, audition classes and also phenomenal seminars. This year we were able to present an emerging work by Miss Allyson K. And our performing work by choreographer Mr. Jeffrey Gibbler- with our gorgeous tutus designed and constructed by Ballet Yuma alum, Grant Spencer. Four of our dancers were presented with scholarships, Miss Emma B. (for Ballet Arizona), Miss Allyson K. (for her choreography) and also to Miss Margaret P. and Abigail S. (For their grant from the Peace, Love, and Sunshine grant from the Maple family foundation.) We are very proud of each one of our dancers. We are thankful to be able to give our dancers this educational and artistic experience and are already looking ahead to the Ballet Alliance Festival 2027!
