Another successful year at the Fairy Party. 80 # of Teriyaki Chicken, 20 # of Kalua Pork, 7 trays (70cups) of rice, 96 bottles of water, 116 cans of soda all sold out. Mahalo to the Alaynia Preston-Kauhola, Joe, Marje & Abella Metrillo, Sean, Kaylin, Marz & Matti Smith, Jerry, Eva, Ashley, Alex & Jazi Conrad, Alfonso(Jun), Johanna(J-La), Alana, Aleia &Jeremiah Lavarias, LilyAnn, Mikey & Madison Carp and Kari Pearson for helping with setup, serving, cooking and cleanup. We all had fun today and tonight and look forward to next year. Thank you for your dedication to the Hui. Mahalo ke Aloha Pumehana....Aunty Cookie🍪

Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo to all the performers and to Rose Arevalo for teaching them. You all did a fantastic job after only dancing for 4 months. Our whahine dancers. Ida McMahon, Eva Conrad, Nani Mistah Hendrix, Alaynia Preston-Kauhola, Alana Lavarias, Alyssa Rodgers, LilyAnn Carp, Tyra Adkison, our keiki, Zeke Spatig, Fiona Adkison, Marleigh and Madi Smith, Aleia Lavarias, Abella Metrillo and Madison Carp. A big mahalo to our Moms helping get them ready, Kaylin Smith & Johanna Arce Lavarias. Also to our Kane dancer Jo`el and to Matilda Emhoolah-Guzman for helping get the dancers out on time & to Kassandra Levya for DJing during practice and performance. To our men that helped pit the pig, Jerry Conrad, Joe Metrillo, Jun Alfonso V. Lavarias, Justin Lavarias, Sean Smith, Diante Rodgers, Jay Night and to our new master imu chief and cook, Ashley Conrad. Some of you were under the weather but, you were a professional, and powered through it all. Last, thank you to Gavin Goble and Cirony Brown Goble, who attended a concert in Phoenix Friday night but came, drove back to Yuma Saturday just to perform with us. To Teresa Stinson and Garry Knight, for all your help in the kitchen & to all others that helped and supported us, Again, you can't believe how grateful I am to have you all supporting the Hui. Mahalo to Ida McMahon, Garry Knight, Alaynia Preston-Kauhola, Teresa Stinson, Shirley and her Mom for helping me cut 120 # of chicken in preparation of the luau at St John Neumann on Saturday, Feb 3. We had it all done, cutting cleaning, washing dishes and mopping in just 2 1/2 hours. Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you also, LilyAnn Carp and Aly Alyssa Rodgers for volunteering.

First of all I would like to thank Eva Conrad and Aunty Sandy Riley for cutting the chicken on May 2 for the Gateway Park Christian Concert.



Next, I would like to thank the following people who helped at the Gateway Park Christian Concert; Pono Swain, The Conrad Ohana-Jerry, Eva, Iwalani, Alex and Jaz, Martin and Mattie Guzman, Aunty Trini Nabarette, Aunty Sandy and Uncle Dick Riley, Rose Arevalo, Kassandra Levya, Lavarias Ohana-Jun, J-La, Alana and Aleia, Ashley Hagan, Liane Martinez and for Jay and Robin Hight who showed up, just to help us tear down. Even though the winds were bad and the sand blowing was terrible, we still had a great time. We made a great name for the Hui and everyone was raving about how delicious our food was.

Finally, I would like to thank all those that made Leann and Pono's baby shower so much fun and a success. Many thanks to those bringing food for the shower, Aunty Sandy, Rose, Nalani, Mattie, Conrad Ohana, Lavarias Ohana, Pono (you make the best spam musubis)....what are we going to do when you leave for Okinawa?
