Good morning YSK students and families,

Sensei's second surgery will happen today. Hopefully we will also find out what type of bacteria caused all this mess.
At this point, we don't know when Sensei will be released from the hospital yet.
We thank you all for your patience during this challenging time. Sensei sends his apologies for the inconvenience this has cause.

Update on Sensei,

The surgery to his left hand went well. There will be a second procedure tomorrow, Monday, to finish flushing the bacteria from the affected area. Overall, he is well and in good spirits.

Hello YSK families,
Sensei's surgery went well. He was able to eat something, and now he is sleeping. He will be here until Monday, when he will undergo a second procedure to ensure the infection is gone from the affected area.

Hello YSK students and families,

The dojo will be closed this coming week to allow Sensei to recover from an emergency surgery to one of his hands. Early this morning he was air-flown to Honor Health Scottsdale Med Center with a serious bacterial infection in his left hand. He's in good spirits at this moment and in pre-op.

I will be providing updates as I am able.
