Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church Yuma

Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church is a family of faith, welcoming all people to join with us in seeking, discovering, celebrating and sharing God's love, grace and peace through our Lord Jesus Christ. Established in 1956 in Yuma, Arizona Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church reaches out in Mission to the Tohono O'Odham Indian Reservation in fellowship with the Santa Rosa Presbyterian Church on the reservation; we partner in ministry to Jesus Pan De Vida Presbyterian Church in Mexico through the ministry of SAM/MAS. Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church is also involved in local mission efforts including being a Habitat for Humanity Church partner and regular contributor to the Yuma Community Foodbank and Crossroads Mission. At Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church children are mentored in a relationship with Jesus Christ through Sunday school, Children's Church, and a Puppet Ministry. Every Wednesday night the Church family gathers for dinner, Bible classes for adults and Boy/Girl Scout activities for ages 5-18. Youth Group meets twice monthly. Our 9:00 am worship is blended utilizing the gifts of children, youth, a Praise Team, and Chancel Choir. The evangelism committee leads us in reaching out to our community in an effort to "Show God's Love in practical ways." The stewardship of our property includes its use by thirteen community group who meet each week, including several AA groups and "Hand in Hand Christian Preschool".
