Global classical composer Arturo Márquez makes a historic, once in a lifetime appearance with the IV Symphony on October 10th, 2026 @ Jimmie Cannon Theater, Southwest High School, 2001 Ocotillo Drive, El Centro, CA.

Márquez is internationally acclaimed and has deep roots in the Imperial Valley. Join us for an evening to celebrate his wonderful works with the composer in person!

Join us for an unforgettable evening to celebrate his dynamic music and the chance to meet Arturo in person.

The concert, titled "An Evening with Arturo Márquez: The Imperial Valley Symphony Celebrates the Music of Márquez," will take place at the Jimmie Cannon Theatre Saturday, October 10 at 7 p.m.

The Yuma Orchestra Association supports local youth music education by providing after-school violin classes and instruction for students at G.W. Carver Elementary School. Through this program, students have the opportunity to learn an instrument, build their musical skills, and experience the joy of making music together. Thank you to Matt Buckley for coming to chat with the board last night at our August meeting.
We are proud to help make music education more accessible to young musicians right here in Yuma!
