Every Beat Matters.

What started with a simple bucket became an opportunity for these amazing students to discover rhythm, teamwork, discipline, and confidence.

Watching them grow throughout this program has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Every rehearsal, every challenge, and every smile led to this unforgettable moment.

I couldn't be more proud of each and every one of these students. Thank you to all the families for your support, encouragement, and trust throughout this journey. Your belief in these young musicians made all the difference.

A very special thank you to Haram Drumsticks HARAM and Brush It Art Studio for collaborating with Bucket Beats Academy and supporting our students. Your generosity and commitment to music education helped make this experience even more meaningful. We are truly grateful to have you as part of the Bucket Beats family!

I'm excited to introduce Bucket Beats Academy, a fun and energetic bucket drumming experience for kids ages 8–14!
Students will learn rhythms, teamwork, coordination, confidence, and musicianship. All while having an incredible time making music together. No musical experience is required.

Meet the Instructor

Hello! My name is Mario Hernandez, and I'm the founder of Bucket Beats.

For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of teaching music and percussion to students of all ages. Throughout my career as a music educator, drumline instructor, performer, producer, and program director, I've learned that music is about so much more than playing the right notes.

The greatest reward has never been the performances or the trophies. It's seeing students discover confidence, work together as a team, overcome challenges, and realize they are capable of more than they ever imagined.

Over the years, I've had the honor of leading students in performances throughout Arizona and at incredible events and destinations, including Disneyland, San Francisco, Phoenix, London, Spain, Italy, and other unforgettable experiences. Every performance has reinforced one simple belief: when students feel supported, encouraged, and valued, they can accomplish amazing things.

That belief inspired me to create Bucket Beats.

Bucket Beats is more than a drumming program. It's a place where students learn rhythm, teamwork, creativity, leadership, and confidence in a positive and welcoming environment where everyone belongs.

Whether your child has musical experience or is picking up drumsticks for the very first time, my goal is to help them leave every class feeling proud, encouraged, and excited to come back.

I truly believe that every child has something important to contribute.

I'm incredibly excited to launch the very first Bucket Beats LIVE Summer Experience!

This isn't just a drumming class. It's a place where students build confidence, teamwork, creativity, and leadership through rhythm and performance.

Over 8 interactive classes, students will learn exciting bucket drumming skills, work together as a team, and finish the program with a LIVE showcase for family and friends.

Whether your child has musical experience or is picking up drumsticks for the first time, everyone is welcome.
