As our summer is ending at Milestones Preschool, we're looking back on all the memories we made together! ☀️

This summer, children got to explore through water play, cooking activities, STEM challenges, music and movement, and endless opportunities to express themselves through art and creativity. Each activity was designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and make learning fun.

Jonny Porter was in the house today 🎉 I got to see that beautiful inner child in him ☀️ he definitely fit right in and enjoyed some playtime 💛 children learn through play; let us always enjoy what we do!

This summer, some of our preschoolers (ages 3–5) have the opportunity to participate in a weekly yoga class led by Noemi Q. Loroña! 🧘‍♀️💛

With her background in early childhood education, Noemi creates engaging, age-appropriate yoga experiences that help children build balance, coordination, self-regulation, and confidence… all while having fun! We’re so grateful to offer this enriching experience as part of our program. 🌟

This weekend, our team had the opportunity to attend the PAX Tools for Youth Development training alongside fellow educators in our community. We gained valuable insight into trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral strategies that support the development of self-regulation, strengthen positive relationships between children and adults, and reduce conflict.

We are excited to bring these tools back to our classrooms and continue creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. 💛

A few of our friends from the Pre-K class had the opportunity to visit Gary A Knox Elementary School for a cafeteria tour as they get ready for their exciting journey to kindergarten! 🍎🎒

Experiences like these are just one of the many ways we help prepare our preschoolers for this important milestone. By becoming familiar with a new school environment, they can enter kindergarten feeling more confident, comfortable, and excited for what's ahead. 💛✨

What a week at Milestones Preschool! ☀️
Here is a glimpse at what our June Summer Activities looked like this week. We kicked the week off with crazy hair day, made our own lemonade, and built a custom obstacle course. Water days are always a blast with bubbles and all the splashing fun.
We ended the week with a teddy bear picnic with our favorite stuffed friends. ✨
