It is our goal to provide information about our school to parents, staff, students, community members, and stakeholders. Carver Elementary School social media pages are managed by school a

dministration for the purpose of sharing events, achievements, emergency information, and other news. To protect the rights and privacy of Yuma School District One students and staff, page administrators reserve the right to remove any comments (especially those deemed inappropriate or malicious) at any time, for any reason. The following social media terms and conditions apply to any official District One social media page, including official social media pages of any of its schools. Comment Removal
Page Administrators reserve the right to remove any comments made on G.W. Carver Elementary School posts that contain:
-Conduct that violates the terms and conditions of the applicable social media platform (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
-Illegal conduct or encouragement of illegal activity
-Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates prohibited discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation
-Conduct that is threatening, inciting, harassing, or bullying
-Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party, such as copyright or trademark infringement
-Information that is false
-Content that compromises the safety or security of District One, any of its schools, staff, or students
-Personnel information, individually identifiable student information, or other confidential material
-Profane language or content
-Promotions of services or products
-Promotions of political candidates or organizations
-Sexual harassment or sexual content
-Solicitations of commerce or advertisements including promotion or endorsement
-Spam or comments that include links to external online sites, including comments that are unrelated to the original post
-Conduct that is otherwise in violation of School Board policies or that reasonably may lead to the substantial disruption of or material interference with District One school operations

Comments in violation of these terms and conditions may be removed from the applicable District One official social media platform. Continued or egregious violations may prompt District One to further restrict an individual’s commenting on official District One social media platforms. Notices
Individuals should be aware that their comments are public and may be subject to the Freedom of Information Act and records retention requirements. District One may be obligated to retain public comments in its records and/or disclose the information if requested. Public comments expressed on District One’s social media pages do not reflect the opinions and position of the District One School Board, District One, and its schools, officers and employees. By posting to District One’s social media pages, you acknowledge and agree to the Code of Conduct set forth from the district.

Join us for our Meet and Greet THIS Friday, July 31st from 10:00am to 1:00pm! You will find your new room, meet your teacher, and drop off your supplies We are excited to see everyone! All families will start in the school library!

And we are still taking new students! Make sure to enroll ASAP!

Carver Elementary School has added new bus routes to expand transportation service and make getting to school even more convenient.

Be sure to check our online bus routes for the most up-to-date routes and pickup locations. You may be surprised to find a route and pickup time that works for your family!

We're excited to make Carver Elementary School more accessible to Yuma families and look forward to welcoming students each day.

🐍 Carver Community, we are currently enrolling for all grades for the 2026 - 2027 school year! You can register online at anytime at www.yuma.org/registration or Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm in the front office. Our office opens WEDNESDAY, JULY 22nd! We are also offering a Kindergarten Jump Start this week Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 12pm. The first day of school is August 3rd we can't wait to see our COBRAS.
