Friday, August 21 is National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day.

One conversation could save a life.
Fentanyl is one of the most dangerous drugs facing our communities today. It is often hidden in counterfeit pills or mixed into counterfeit prescription medications without a person's knowledge. As this powerful video explains, one mistake can have permanent consequences.

Our seniors did an AMAZING job bringing their creativity to life with their personalized parking spots! From bold designs to meaningful details, each space is a reflection of the personality and spirit of the Class of 2027.

Their creativity has transformed our parking lot into a vibrant showcase of school spirit, personality, and senior pride.

We love seeing our seniors leave their mark on YHS! 💚💛🐝

🐝💚💛 CLUB RUSH AT YHS! 💛💚🐝

There was something for EVERYONE at Club Rush! 🎉

More than 25 clubs and organizations filled our lunches Friday, giving students the opportunity to explore all the ways they can get connected, get involved, and find their place at YHS!

Throughout all three lunches, students were able to meet club members and sponsors, ask questions, learn about different opportunities, and sign up for clubs that sparked their interest.

From leadership and service to academics, special interests, and everything in between—our Hornets have so many ways to make their high school experience their own! 🐝

A huge thank you to all of our club sponsors and student leaders who helped showcase what makes YHS such an incredible place to belong. 💚💛

As we wrap up the first week of school, we would like to thank just a few of our community partners for providing breakfast for our faculty and staff during pre-planning and the first week of school.

Thank you to Exchange Church, Kyle Whitlow at Herff Jones, The Journey Church, Gracie's Kitchen, and The Journey Church for providing delicious meals to welcome us back on campus. We are beyond thankful.
