This past Thursday night, we had the privilege of celebrating some of Yukon’s finest Music Educators at the Oklahoma Music Educators Association Awards Ceremony.

Huge congratulations to Clint Brown, recipient of the OkMEA Exemplary Teacher Award, and Meagan McCrary, honored with the OkMEA Outstanding Young Music Educator Award.

This past Friday and Saturday, more than 60 of our 7th and 8th grade Yukon Middle School band members traveled to OU in Norman to participate in the OSCDA Honor Band Clinic.

We are so proud of all of the work these students put in to their auditions in November, and how amazingly well they represented the Yukon Band Program this past weekend! They played an amazing concert with students from Mustang, Norman, OKC, Moore, Noble, Choctaw, and the several other surrounding area schools.
