ELAC Meeting today in Room 321 from 11:30-12:30 PM.

Migrant Ed. Speech and Debate Practice in Room 60-61 from 3:20- 4:15 PM.

Winter Athletics Meeting in the MP Room from 6:00- 7:00 PM.

Tutoring Opportunities:

C-Club is tutoring offered during lunch for students who would like to improve their math grades. Students are encouraged to bring their lunches into the classroom and get the math help they need. Location: Room 322 Time: 12:28pm - 1:08pm Days: M-Fri
Math levels: Algebra Readiness, Applied Algebra, and Algebra 1.

Algebra 1 Grade Improvement Program is offered in room 322 everyday after school from 3:15pm - 4:15pm. There will be a snack provided for all students who attend and late bus passes are available.

For tutoring in all subject areas, please visit the Career Center from 3:15pm - 4:15pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Late Bus Passes are also available.

This Saturday, on November 2nd, is the last CAHSEE Tutoring Workshop before the Exam days on November 5th and 6th for 11th and 12th grades. Breakfast and Lunch will be prepared and provided for all students who attend the workshop.
Location: Library Time: 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Work Ready Workshops:
There will be three workshops available in the Career Center at lunch on October 29, November 5 and November 12. Mrs. Croucher will be covering identifying skills, building a resume, how to compose cover letters and follow up letters, how to fill out a master job application and who to ask for letters of recommendation. All students welcome!

Homecoming Week!

This upcoming Saturday (11/2/13) is the last CAHSEE Workshop for students who would like to prepare for the CAHSEE Exam.
Please note that the workshop begins at 8:00 am in the Library. Breakfast/Lunch will be prepared and provided for all 11th/ 12th grade students who attend.

Important Dates:
11/5/13 ELA CAHSEE Exam for 11th & 12th Grades
11/6/13 Math CAHSEE Exam for 11th & 12 Grades

Upward Bound Scholars Academy will be held in Room 321-322 at YCHS from 9am - 12pm.
Dates: 11/2/13, 11/9/13, 11/16/13, 11/23/13, and 12/7/13.

CAL-SOAP Representatives will be visiting in Government/Economics Classes on 10//31/13 and 11/1/13.

End of the Second Grading Period will be this Friday November 1st. Grades are due by 11/7/13 by 8:00 pm
