ATTENTION TEACHERS! You don't want to miss this summer series that will equip you with knowledge and practical application ideas to make sure ALL of your students read with skill and enthusiasm!

Details: This series includes 5 weeks of learning for a total of 10 professional development hours. A certificate will be provided to participants at the end based on completion. Check with your state and district to determine if these hours will count towards your professional development requirements.

Each week there will be an assignment to complete on your own as well as a one hour zoom meeting. Meetings will be recorded if you cannot attend in person. All assignments will be posted in a Google Classroom that each participant will be required to join.

June 23: Phonemic Awareness
July 7: Phonics
July 14: Fluency
July 21: Vocabulary
July 28: Comprehension

Live Zoom meetings will be held at 2 pm (Pacific Time)

It's been a busy summer! I had a great time tutoring students and watching them learn and grow! But I'm taking a hiatus from tutoring as I begin a new job in a new school district as a literacy coach. I look forward to partnering with teachers as we work towards literacy for all! ☀️Pre-Enrollment for summer is here!

I am starting to plan for summer reading tutoring. If you are interested in this for your child, please fill out the Google Pre-Enrollment Interest Form (link below). I have limited in-person or online spots available and will contact those who fill out the form in the order in-which I receive responses. I also have guided courses online that would be perfect for parents wanting to help their child, but not sure exactly what to do. Also, a great choice if you'll be traveling throughout the summer!
