It's been a busy summer! I had a great time tutoring students and watching them learn and grow! But I'm taking a hiatus from tutoring as I begin a new job in a new school district as a literacy coach. I look forward to partnering with teachers as we work towards literacy for all! Feel free to message me if you have questions or needs. I do have virtual lessons that take minimal parent involvement, but are sure to help your beginning reader! See my website for more details: www.readinginstructionwithmrsslocum.com

In-Person Summer Tutoring is booked, but I still have plenty of space in my online courses!

The online courses are IDEAL for parents who want to work with their children, but need guidance. I do the teaching, kids do the learning, parents give feedback and monitor progress, then contact me if they need additional help!

These comments from parents could not make me happier. I LOVE to see students finally have their AHA! MOMENT and make the transformation from strugglers to happy kids who are confident in their new skills!

☀️Pre-Enrollment for summer is here!

I am starting to plan for summer reading tutoring. If you are interested in this for your child, please fill out the Google Pre-Enrollment Interest Form (link below). I have limited in-person or online spots available and will contact those who fill out the form in the order in-which I receive responses. I also have guided courses online that would be perfect for parents wanting to help their child, but not sure exactly what to do. Also, a great choice if you'll be traveling throughout the summer!
