Hi All, if you came to the Big Springs 4-h meeting. Then you will probably need answers to some of the questions on the showmanship form. 3 diseases are Wry Neck, symptoms are twisting head, caused by an inner ear infection. A second disease would be snuffles which is discharge from the nose and crusty paws from wiping their nose. Caused by pasturella and third is Mallocolusion, signs of it are misaligned teeth, cause can be a broken tooth or genetics. If it is inherited you don't want to breed that animal.

I will be at the Big Springs 4-H Rabbit meeting Saturday at 10am in the Big Springs Fire Department. I am going to be assisting in teaching Showmanship. If anyone is thinking of joining my team, please feel free to join us. If you have a bunny, bring one, if not, come out and see what its about.

I am getting ready to start planning a rabbit and cavy field day. I will let everybody know the details as soon as I do, but we're going to have a little small show and we're going to have several different competitions including showmanship, breed ID and even some fun ones like poster and rabbit and cavy related artwork competitions.

Hello and Welcome!! My name is Kendra and I have been a rabbit exhibitor and Showman since 1988. I competed in Showmanship at County, State and National Level as well as Small Animal Round Robin at the County and State Level. I have also coached independent showman off an on for the last 10 years. My goal for Rabbit Riot is to have an independent show team that will provide support for each other and learn various aspects of showing rabbits. We accept all ages as long as the youth can learn to carry their own bunny to the show table. We will have various parties and fun events through the year. Please PM if you have any other questions.
